Locum - Physician Assistant (PA) - Gastroenterology

• *Coverage Dates:**

Immediate availability required; every other week schedule (7 consecutive days on, followed by 7 consecutive days off). **Working Hours:** Sunday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. **Call Coverage Details:** No overnight call; initial contact via beeper or phone during shift. **Call Ratio:** Only the first call during the shift is expected. **Callback Hours:** Not applicable. **Provider Requirement:** One provider is needed. **Practice Setting:** Inpatient / Hospital-Based. **Patient Demographics:** Adult patient population only. **Outpatient vs. Inpatient Care:** 100% inpatient setting. **Patient Volume:** Expected average of 20-25 patients per day. **Trauma Center Level:** Level 1 facility. **Required Duties and Skills** Responsibilities include conducting consults and follow-up visits, as well as scheduling and preparing for endoscopy procedures. **EMR Documentation System:**

EPIC.

**Shift Summary:** Scheduled every other week with a 7-on, 7-off rotation, from 7 AM to 5 PM.
