Brunch Server - Rooftop at the Envio

AC Hotel by Marriott Downtown/Waterfront 299 Vaughn Street Portsmouth, NH 03801, USA Description The Rooftop at the Envio at the AC Hotel Portsmouth, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking experienced and friendly Brunch Servers to join our team. You will be the face of our restaurant, providing memorable experiences for our guests. In this role you will need to be quick on your feet, have a positive upbeat attitude, and enjoy talking to people. If this sounds like you, we would like to meet you! General Responsibilities: Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible) Take orders from guests and deliver to appropriate person to execute Answer questions regarding the menu Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition Take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen Delivers food, beverages, condiments and other requested items Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest’s satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen Collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal Adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies Clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures Ensure sideboards are adequately stocked Set tables to standards, and that all items are clean and in good repair Prepare guest checks and collect payment Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments Perform other related duties as assigned, you may required to perform a variety or duties in multiple departments during a shift Requirements: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to solve problems Ability to operate point-of-sale system Ability to work quickly and efficiently Organizational and time management skills Ability to work with a team Ability to maintain personal hygiene Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience as a server preferred Ability to work 7-day rotational schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays We’ve got you covered: Benefits & Perks Medical Insurance with Company-Funded HRA Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Wide-Array of Supplemental Insurance Offerings Paid Time Off Programs Employee Assistance Program 401K Plan – Traditional & Roth Options with Employer Match Hotel Discount Travel Program for Associates & Family Exclusive Associate Discounts – Travel, Entertainment, & Retail Training and Development Programs Colwen Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
