RN - TELE

Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical, Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour days; 36 hours/week

This assignment requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) proficient in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing. Candidates must be ready to work independently and possess strong abilities in cardiac monitoring. This position is in a small, rural facility, and preference will be given to candidates with rural experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse populations from newborn to geriatric.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to abnormalities, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience in Progressive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry nursing.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact license.
• Basic dysrhythmia test certification.
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Rural/small facility experience is preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation.
