Job Description The Property Claims Manager leads a team of adjusters to drive performance, collaboration, and a strong customer-focused culture. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, guiding complex claim decisions, and ensuring high-quality claim outcomes. This position includes a focus on property claims within the Farm & Agribusiness portfolio, supporting consistent results across a geographically distributed team. This leadership role will be overseeing a team of adjusters handling property claims. The ideal candidate will bring strong property claims leadership experience, including managing adjuster performance, guiding complex claim decisions, and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes. This role supports claims involving farm properties, equipment, and related exposures, and works closely with adjusters, agents, and customers to deliver timely and effective claim resolution. Key Responsibilities • Ensures understanding of business objectives, results, processes, etc. with their direct reports • Fosters a collaborative environment that inspires and motivates many employees • Develops and directs business unit action plans • Manages and resolves escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues • Accountable for human resources duties, including resource management, hiring, performance management, talent development and compensation planning • Responsible for complex claim decisions, identification of hiring, training, and succession planning opportunities, and the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategies and process improvements to achieve corporate financial outcomes • Analyzes results and contributes to the development of strategies and action plans to support the achievement of operational goals related to customer service, loss cost management, and expense controls Work Environment Fully remote role with a distributed team across Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones Minimal travel (~10%), primarily planned team or business meetings Standard business hours (Monday–Friday) Supervisory Responsibilities • This job has supervisory duties. #LI-JH1 Skills Claims Settlement, Insurance Claims, Property Claims, Reporting, Teamwork Compensation Compensation offered for this role is 98,100.00 - 167,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
