Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity

Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Total Joint trained Orthopedic Surgeon to join our Orthopedic Surgery team based in Tacoma, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an integrated care delivery system that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and physician collaboration.

Position highlights include:

• Join a team of ten orthopedic surgeons and nine physician associates. Surgeons have sub-specialty training in joints, sports, foot/ankle, and hand/upper extremity.
• Focus on primary and revision total joint arthroplasty, specifically hips and knees.
• Supportive, collegial environment with opportunities for mentorship and collaboration.
• Kaiser focuses on a coordinated care model that fosters optimal patient outcomes, including an established total joints program of nurse navigators and physical rehabilitation.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree MD/DO Required
• BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon
• Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA
• Ability to obtain: WA State Medical License
• Experience in revision total joints and periprosthetic fractures

Compensation and benefits include:

The entire salary range for this position is $596,761 to $702,071 and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $596,761 to $666,968 based on factors such as education, training or experience.
