Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist Job Description
This role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the parts and stockroom within an aviation environment. The primary responsibilities include receiving incoming aircraft parts, preparing and shipping outgoing parts, processing core returns, tracking inventory, and maintaining an organized stockroom. The position focuses on the physical and administrative movement of parts once they are received, ensuring proper documentation, tracking in the computer system, storage, and shipping.
Responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts and materials.
• Verify incoming shipments and accurately enter/track parts in the computer system.
• Properly organize and store parts within the stockroom.
• Pick, pack, and prepare parts for outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate shipping of parts and materials.
• Process and track core returns.
• Maintain accurate inventory and parts records.
• Assist with inventory counts and stockroom organization.
• Communicate with internal departments regarding incoming and outgoing parts.
• Ensure parts and shipping documentation is completed accurately.

Essential Skills

• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Experience in stockroom, warehouse, parts, or inventory management.
• Ability to receive, organize, track, and ship parts/materials.
• Strong computer skills to update inventory/parts information in a computer system.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving, stockroom, warehouse, or inventory roles.
• Aviation or aircraft parts experience is a strong plus.
• Experience handling technical, serialized, or high-value parts/materials.
• Previous experience in an aviation maintenance or repair station environment.

Work Environment
The position is located in a 145 corporate jet repair station environment. Work primarily takes place in the parts room and hangar, requiring interaction with maintenance and operations teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Quakertown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
