General Litigation Attorney

Compensation: Base Salary of $130,000–$200,000+ Hybrid and Remote flexibility available. Based across New York NY, New Jersey, and Philadelphia PA, we are a growing defense litigation firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The litigation team is expanding and seeking multiple experienced General Litigation Defense Attorneys to join a growing team handling sophisticated general liability defense matters across the Northeast. This role is ideal for a seasoned defense litigator who values varied caseload work collaborative teamwork and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment. Responsibilities Handle sophisticated general liability defense matters across practice areas including auto accidents, bodily injury and damages claims, products liability and general liability defense litigation with accuracy and efficiency. Manage all phases of litigation including motions, depositions, discovery and case strategy while maintaining strong client communication and delivering practical legal guidance throughout each matter. Draft persuasive motions, briefs and legal correspondence while conducting legal research and developing effective defense strategies across an active caseload. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management while independently managing deadlines and delivering high-quality work product in a hybrid or remote setting. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school with active bar admission in good standing in New York, New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania. 3+ years of general litigation defense experience with demonstrated ability to handle motions, depositions, discovery and case strategy; trial experience not required. Strong organizational, communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment. Strong writing, analytical and client management skills with a stable work history reflecting longer-term tenure at prior firms preferred; ability to meet a 2000 billable hour requirement.
