Senior Product Design Engineer

This role involves the creative development and enhancement of linear systems and actuators tailored to market demands. The responsibilities include developing 3D solutions for products and testing equipment, designing variants by modifying existing elements, and evaluating design solutions based on functional, material, and economic aspects. The position requires carrying out internal and external product projects in line with specifications, costs, and timelines, while also optimizing existing products and developing new ones. Key duties involve planning and managing R&D projects, defining and conducting release tests to ensure quality, and creating final documentation. The role is also responsible for calculations, creating digital twins for product configurators, and collaborating with international teams. Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or a comparable qualification. Good CAD skills (preferably Creo), SAP skills, and good knowledge of MS Office products. Initial experience in project management and the product development process (PEP), as well as knowledge of development methodologies (DRBFM, FMEA, etc.) are advantageous. Strong teamwork and communication skills, a high degree of initiative, creativity and analytical thinking, goaloriented and methodical work style. Advanced English level, German is an advantage.
