Job DescriptionTraining Specialist – Contact Center\nLocation: Johnston, RI |\nHybrid – 2 days onsite/week (flexible days)\nRate: $44–$55/hour\n\nJob Summary\nSeeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver technical and operational training for the Rhode Island Energy Contact Center. The ideal candidate can create training content, facilitate sessions, and develop into a subject matter expert on business processes, systems, and procedures.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n Develop and deliver ILT, eLearning, SOPs, job aids, and assessments.\n Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training.\n Partner with operational and product teams to identify training gaps and develop solutions.\n Track training participation, assessment results, and retraining needs.\n Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programs.\n Stay current with training methodologies, LMS platforms, and learning technologies.\n Build strong relationships with stakeholders and SMEs.\n\nQualifications\n\n Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of progressive training experience.\n Experience developing and facilitating technical/operational training.\n Strong content development, presentation, and facilitation skills.\n Experience with eLearning, LMS, and Microsoft Office.\n Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.\n Utility/energy industry experience preferred but not required.\n Ability to quickly learn complex systems and processes and become a subject matter expert.\n\n
