Lube Technician Job Description The Lube Technician is responsible for performing lube-related services for customers in a professional and efficient manner. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Other Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information; professional personal appearance; excellent communication skills; ability to meet company’s production and quality standards. Physical Requirements and Surroundings Move throughout the company facility for most of the shift. Spend time outdoors in various weather conditions. Infrequently sit; frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, reach overhead, climb stairs, and perform repetitive hand/finger movements. Regularly lift over 50 lbs, grasp/grab, push, and pull. Expectations General Expectations Ensure customer satisfaction. Ask questions and listen to determine management, production, and quality requirements. Attend meetings and participate in performance management. Set personal performance goals aligned with company standards and review actions regularly. Stay informed about industry terminology and technological changes. Comply with legal and work policies, including confidentiality. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job-Specific Expectations Perform lube oil filter services and vehicle inspections professionally. Provide dependable customer service. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean, and organized manner. Follow service instructions and complete paperwork accurately. Keep technical skills current through training.
