The North Carolina Music Hall Of Fame (NCMHOF) is an industry leading Hall of Fame and museum with a mission to "Recognize, Promote, & Commemorate the musical heritage of North Carolina". We are seeking a Visitor Relations temporary hire to join the NCMHOF team during 2024. Job Description Job duties include, but are not limited to: Aid in public awareness of theNCMHOF Conducting museum tours Clerical tasks that aid the museum's daily business and operations Replying to correspondence Scheduling appointments/tours Gift shop operation Promotional material distribution Ensure the museum facility is maintained in a clean, safe, secure & organized fashion. Representing the organization with the highest level of professionalism. Performing other duties as assigned by the Executive Director Reports directly to the Executive Director Qualifications Enthusiasm and support for music and the NC Music Hall of Fame Interest in working with visitorsand as a member of a team. Ability to work under stress Ability to handle situations as they ariseand proactively solve problems Basic computer skills are required Job requires exerting up to 20pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Requires a high degree of interaction and engagement with others.
