Civil Designer - Land Development

About the job Civil Designer - Land Development Role Our client has an opportunity for a recent Graduate in Civil Engineering to join our land development team. Candidates will play a key role in the design and development of land projects. Our projects portfolio includes multi-family residential, commercial industrial, and community projects. You will work closely with experienced engineers and project managers to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the successful execution of projects. Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including grading, drainage, and site layout under the guidance of senior staff and Project Manager. Prepare technical documents, drawings, and calculations under the guidance of senior staff and Project Manager. Conduct site assessments and gather data to inform design decisions. Collaborate with project teams to ensure project specifications and standards are met. Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and permit applications. Requirements Bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering. Familiarity with civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) is a plus. Strong understanding of engineering principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude with a strong desire to grow within the field.
