Plumbing Superintendent

Plumbing SuperintendentMock Plumbing & Mechanical is seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to lead commercial plumbing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is committed to safety, quality, scheduling, and developing high-performing crews. This position requires strong field knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate all aspects of commercial plumbing installations.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise field crews while maintaining a safe work environment.Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.Manage project quality, scheduling, manpower, and productivity.Review and understand construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.Attend coordination and BIM meetings.Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and vendors.Plan material needs and maintain inventory to avoid project delays.Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate field personnel.Complete weekly payroll and required project documentation.Verify material deliveries and inspect for accuracy and damage.Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet company quality standards.QualificationsCommercial plumbing superintendent experience preferred.30-Hour OSHA Certification (or willingness to obtain).Georgia Master Plumber License (or willingness to obtain).Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and construction practices.Ability to read blueprints and coordinate installations.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Required Field ExperienceCandidates should have experience with:Underground and above-ground DWV systemsDomestic water and pressure piping systemsPVC, CPVC, copper, steel, cast iron, and HDPE pipingPlumbing fixture installationWater heaters, pumps, booster systems, storage tanks, and related equipmentOperation of hand and power toolsEquipment operation including forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, mini excavators, and backhoes (certifications as required)What We're Looking ForStrong leadership and accountabilityExcellent communication skillsAbility to solve problems in the fieldCommitment to safety and quality workmanshipA team player who leads by example and develops othersJoin a company that values craftsmanship, leadership, and professional growth.
