About the Position

Facility Overview: Clinic located in West Chester, Ohio. This position is covering a maternity leave for a full-time OT. Position Needed: OT Key Experience and Skills Required: Must be comfortable treating hand patients but does not need a CHT certification. Must be able to fabricate custom splints ordered by physicians. Patient Ratios / Productivity: 40 50 patients per week (approximately 10 patients per day). Evaluation Times: 1-hour evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits. Types of Cases Seen: Combination of surgical and non-surgical patients. Experience treating workers' compensation patients preferred. No FCEs or work conditioning required. Patient Population: Adult orthopedic hand therapy caseload with occasional post-CVA hand therapy patients (less than 2% of caseload). Years of Experience Preferred: Must be able to treat hand patients with at least 6 months of hand therapy-specific caseload experience. New Graduates Accepted: Yes. Preferred Start Date: August 17 preferred. Schedule Details: Monday Friday. Open to flexible hours but requires 2 late nights with the last patient scheduled at 6:00 PM. Schedule Structure: Flexible. Current OT works four 10-hour shifts and is off on Wednesdays. Clinic Hours: Monday Thursday 7:00 AM 7:00 PM; Friday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM; Closed weekends. Documentation System: NextGen.
