Job Description Bilingual Spanish Medical Receptionist / Medical Front Desk Receptionist Location: Bronx, NY Pay: $21 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, with 1-2 Saturday mornings per month Job Summary Are you a friendly, organized, Spanish-speaking professional who enjoys helping people? We're hiring a Bilingual Spanish Medical Receptionist for a busy ENT and allergy medical practice in the Bronx! Medical Receptionist Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional front desk experience. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Assist patients with check-in and general questions. Verify health insurance coverage and update insurance information. Enter and maintain accurate patient demographics in the computer system. Pull, organize, and file medical charts and patient records. Answer questions and help direct patients to the appropriate staff members. Support physicians, the office manager, and other medical office staff with daily administrative tasks. Maintain accurate records while handling patient information appropriately. Help ensure an organized and efficient patient check-in and scheduling process. Qualifications Fluency in Spanish is required. Medical receptionist, medical assistant, patient registration, patient access, healthcare administration, or front desk experience is a plus. Knowledge of medical insurance verification and patient scheduling is a plus. Experience with Epic or another electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus. Apply Today!
