Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Shift times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a; 11a-11p, 3p-3a. Rotating shifts with no blocked scheduling available.

Contract length: 7 weeks. Guaranteed hours: variable based on unit needs.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Emergency Room setting.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
Experience with electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic, within the past 2 years.
Must possess active nursing license or proof of application.
Ability to handle variable patient ratios effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency room environment.
Monitor and manage patients, including psychiatric and COVID patients.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Perform assessments and document patient information accurately.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Compliance / Notes

Scrubs required: Navy blue and white. Closed-toe shoes mandatory. Dress code compliance is expected. No personal cell phone usage is allowed while working.
