Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 4x10 day shift contract in a hospital cardiac cath lab setting.

Details

• Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Call requirements include 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
• Weekends are included in call rotation
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
• Active professional licensure required (license required if applicable)
• Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days and cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• Holiday coverage is required: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work two, and one holiday RTO request may be submitted for review
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No schedule change requests or alternate shift arrangements are permitted; the posted shift is firm
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler
• All compliance requirements must be met on time; late compliance may result in a two-week start date delay due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
