Inpatient Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to support a respected acute care hospital. This assignment offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced pharmacy team in a fast-paced environment while caring for a diverse patient population.

Position Highlights

13-week travel assignment
Consistent full-time schedule

Responsibilities

Verify and review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
Prepare and dispense medications according to established protocols
Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug-related issues
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Provide drug information and clinical support to the care team
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Support daily inpatient pharmacy operations

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist license in good standing
Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
Experience with electronic medical record and order verification systems
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
BLS certification preferred

Ideal Candidate
