Work Environment

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist at our New York location, you will work onsite in a collaborative outpatient office environment that promotes teamwork and communication. You will operate in a setting designed for rehabilitation, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and tools necessary for effective treatment. Here, our clinicians have the support to focus on delivering high-impact care in a supportive atmosphere aligned with our core values. You can expect a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, encompassing approximately 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to identify their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and procedures to implement effective treatment modalities consistent with the prescribed care plan, ensuring measurable improvements in patient condition and function.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our clinic and fostering a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes using the latest evidence-based practices.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises and self-management strategies to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Consistently meet established utilization goals while adhering to best practices and maintaining documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs. This role requires an empathetic approach to understand each patient's unique challenges and a commitment to fostering their independence and achieving their personal recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, specifically recognized by APTA or CAPTE.
• A current State License in Physical Therapy, allowing you to practice within New York.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association, ensuring preparedness in emergency situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills, allowing ease of documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly with the populations mentioned above.
• A proven track record of building strong relationships with patients to foster trust and motivation in their recovery journey.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
