Production Supervisor

Job Description The Production Supervisor will lead and motivate the production team to exceed goals and monitor daily production activities to ensure production efficiency goals are met, safety protocols followed, and quality product produced. The role directly supervises 20‑30 hourly employees, plans and controls production performance against operating targets based on machine capabilities, manpower, and projected business, and ensures compliance with customer quality and production standards. The supervisor actively participates in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S, and lean manufacturing programs, ensuring departmental goals are met and all required paperwork, schedules, and work orders are completed. Responsibilities Address mechanical, operation, and technical downtime issues within department Train, motive and mentor employees Supervisor employees in the day-to-day operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity. Maintain and improve production throughput and work with the Production Manager to maintain direct labor costs Ensure company policies, quality procedures, and good manufacturing policies are implemented, understood, and followed.
