Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Douglas, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Nurse, located at the healthcare providers facility, is responsible for delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns. This role involves managing labor, delivery, and postpartum patients, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, and providing support to families during childbirth. Job Details Position Description: Requisition for Labor and Delivery Nurse at a medical center, with a schedule that includes night shifts. The unit has 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, 5 postpartum/women's health services rooms, and 2 NICU beds, serving approximately 80-90 births per month. Required Qualifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications; at least 2 years of experience in Nursery; experience with sick babies; valid license to practice in the state; no minimum experience required. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Requires experience with Nursery and neonatal care. May need to float to Mother Baby units as needed, following AWHONN standards. Charting is completed in Centricity, with medication documentation in Paragon.
