Key Responsibilities

• Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical evaluation
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure precise diagnoses
• Confidently position patients and fine-tune equipment to maximize imaging quality
• Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
• Keep comprehensive records, including imaging logs and routine equipment checks
• Deliver compassionate care throughout each imaging experience
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient imaging facility

Education Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• Completion of an accredited radiology program

Licensing and Certifications Needed

• ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment

Essential Skills

• Proficient understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety guidelines
• Strong communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary colleagues
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adapt swiftly to evolving demands
• A keen attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
• Comfortable with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging technology
