2026 Investment Associate

Role Overview The Investment Associate will work directly alongside an Industry Analyst in an industry-focused team responsible for evaluating investments in companies globally. Responsibilities Researching, analyzing, and performing due diligence on potential investments. Monitoring portfolio investments, competitors, and industry developments. Building and maintaining financial and valuation models. Engaging with company management teams, industry experts, and sell‑side analysts. Creating investment‑related presentation materials. Qualifications One to two years of related work experience or an undergraduate experience that demonstrates exceptional potential. B.A. or B.S. degree and an excellent academic record. Basic accounting knowledge; coursework in economics and statistics is a plus. Demonstrated interest in financial markets and value investing. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with financial modeling. Initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a team‑oriented environment. Requirements 4/1 hybrid work model: Monday–Thursday in the San Francisco office; Friday remote optional. Salary range: $155,000 – $180,000 (base salary), excluding discretionary bonus. Full‑time employment with Dodge & Cox’s standard benefits package.
