Job Description

Leading Internal Medicine Office is willing to pay what it takes, plus a full package of benefits. First year potential $45K+! Beautiful office in a Great location! Patient-friendly professional with strong communication skills and experience in patient care. This is a clinical position working with a great team! All the joys of helping patients with no direct patient care.

The Call Center CMA is responsible for answering patient calls professionally and courteously while assessing their medical needs. Explains details about scheduled tests and therapy to patients. Handles referrals, pre-certs, and paperwork for patient files. Instructs patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions. Communicates information and/or questions to the providers and relays patient their responses to the patients. Submits refills for medications, handles referrals, and assists the physician with any needs they may have with patient care. Answer and direct calls, including the physician line. Fax or mail out orders to the appropriate place. Scan medical records into patient charts and update patient demographics. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Medical Assistant with experience or Certified Medical Assistant. Will also consider an LPN!

Normal Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Criminal/Drug screening.
