divh2Aseptic Technician III/h2pThis 1st shift Aseptic Technician III position is responsible for executing department specific tasks in accordance with all applicable cGMPs and compliant with Corporate/site procedures, regulations, and policies. TCO works with Primary Chicken Embryo Fibroblast cells. May lead department activities in the absence of the Team Leader./ppWorking Hours:/pulliSaturday - Monday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM/li/ulpTCO: Produce CEF cell from eggs in a clean room setting by using aseptic techniques and cleanroom procedures. Infect roller bottles in a clean room setting in preparation for batch and fill of vaccines./pulliExecute, lead and trouble shoot aseptic techniques and clean room procedures or support area procedures with a high level of understanding in a GMP facility./liliReview, maintain and edit, as needed, appropriate departmental cGMP documentation./liliExecute and lead operation to comply with all written procedures, to include Batch Records and SOPs./liliFollow and comply with all manufacturing, inventory and quality electronic systems as appropriate./liliFollow and comply with all financial procedures./liliFollow and comply with all site safety procedures. Identify ways to improve the safety culture of the department./liliOperation of departmental equipment to include set up and take down. Provide oversight as necessary./liliAssist in the preparation of daily production and work schedules./liliEffectively work in a team environment and communicate with multiple departments./li/ulpTCO/pulliPerform environmental monitoring, cleaning, and staging of clean rooms./liliAccurately document production activities on paper and in computer-based systems./liliClean room gowning required./liliAseptic processing skills necessary while working in a small team while in a clean room setting./liliManipulate roller bottles./liliSet up, run (filling) and tear down of fill line equipment/liliProvide department oversight as requested including shift change, schedule changes etc./liliLead and direct in daily lab processes providing the guidance to other department colleagues./liliProvide growth and development opportunities for other department colleagues./li/ulpEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/pulliHigh school education or GED required./liliPost High School education in the Sciences or other related disciplines preferred./liliPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment and/or Aseptic Technician II level beneficial./li/ulpTECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS/pulliGood mathematical, science and computer skills preferred./liliDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills required./liliStrong communication skills required./liliDemonstrated leadership and decision-making skills beneficial./li/ulpPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/pulliMust be able to stand, and walk for long periods of time./liliMust be able to wear a respirator./liliMust be able to reach above shoulder level, bend/stoop, push/pull, and handle/grip frequently./liliMust be able to work scheduled 40 hours with the ability to work overtime as needed./liliMust be comfortable in working in varying temperatures./liliFrequent lifting and carrying 5 to 25 lbs./liliRegular reaching, bending, stooping, and twisting./liliRepetitive motion and substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers./li/ul/div
