Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Secaucus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. You will manage access, provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and help address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff at the front desk while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare diagnostic setting.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials as applicable, maintain visitor records, and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Receive and route calls, provide general information, and communicate security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and reporting requirements.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior through a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
