About the Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to provide high-quality instruction in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards, and support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Job Duties

• Develop and deliver engaging daily lessons aligned with Louisiana state standards and curriculum requirements
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning
• Provide instruction across core elementary subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Differentiate instruction to meet the academic needs of diverse learners
• Assess student progress through assignments, observations, assessments, and classroom activities
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and required documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, specialists, and families to support student success
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a safe and productive learning environment
• Incorporate instructional technology and creative teaching strategies when appropriate
• Participate in professional development, grade-level meetings, and school initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution
• Valid Louisiana teaching certificate issued through the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE)
• Appropriate Elementary Education certification/endorsement for the assigned grade level(s)
• Knowledge of elementary curriculum standards, instructional strategies, and classroom management techniques
• Ability to differentiate instruction and support students with varying academic needs
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
• Previous classroom teaching experience preferred
