Shift: Night/Day | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM / 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | 3 out of 6 holidays required | No on-call | No floating
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes
Pay Rate
Local: $65–$68/hour
Traveler: $70–$73/hour
Note: This job doesn't offer any benefits.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN to provide patient-centered nursing care throughout the labor and delivery process, including antepartum and newborn care.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in the related specialty.
Labor and Delivery experience.
Antepartum experience.
Newborn experience.
ASN required.
Advanced AWHONN or EFM certification.
BLS-AHA certification.
NRP certification.
NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License.
English proficiency: Read, Write, and Speak.
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of experience.
BSN.
ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient problems/needs, physician diagnosis, and functional health framework.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
Manage care of assigned patients.
Document care according to standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Advocate for evidence-based care standards and support evidence-based practices and innovations.
Provide patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
$65 - $68 per hour
