Position Overview:

The Commercial Construction Marketing Manager will support Heatherwood’s continued growth along Florida’s Gulf Coast by leading marketing, proposal, pursuit, and business-development initiatives. This hands-on role will work closely with Leadership, Project Executives, and Operations to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships and market presence, develop pursuit strategies, and communicate Heatherwood’s capabilities, experience, people, and value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, and track business-development opportunities, target markets, clients, and upcoming projects.
• Develop and support pursuit strategies aligned with Heatherwood’s growth objectives and target markets.
• Monitor and coordinate responses to RFPs, RFQs, solicitations, and other business-development opportunities.
• Lead the development, writing, editing, and coordination of proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and other pursuit materials.
• Gather and maintain current project information, resumes, company qualifications, photography, and other content needed for marketing and proposal efforts.
• Develop compelling messaging and materials that effectively communicate Heatherwood’s capabilities, experience, people, and value.
• Support client and industry relationship development through networking, events, meetings, and other business-development activities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and track prospects, opportunities, activity, and business-development pipeline.
• Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
• Develop and coordinate marketing communications, presentations, company materials, and other initiatives that strengthen Heatherwood’s brand and market presence.
• Collaborate closely with Project Executives, Operations, and company leadership to gather information, develop strategies, and coordinate marketing and pursuit efforts.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy, and presentation.
• Track and report on business-development and marketing activity, opportunities, and pursuit outcomes to help inform future strategies.
• Manage and maintain website and social-media content, with an emphasis on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Support press releases, award submissions, project announcements, community initiatives, and industry communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, proposal management, or a related role.
• Experience in construction, architecture, engineering, real estate, or professional services strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy, quality, and presentation.
• Strategic and creative thinker who is equally comfortable developing ideas and executing day-to-day details.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with CRM platforms and proposal/marketing tools preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments and with company leadership.
• Knowledge of the Florida Gulf Coast market and established industry relationships are a plus.
