UnityPoint Health - Des Moines provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Des Moines and Central Iowa. Physicians and providers are supported by our state-of-the-art UnityPoint Health - Des Moines hospitals: Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Blank Children's Hospital, John Stoddard Cancer Center and Methodist West Hospital. • Full-time Emergency Medicine Opportunity
• Work alongside of a great team of experienced professionals
• Advanced scheduling to accommodate lifestyle
• No inpatient duties/no call
• Fully integrated system with clinics and Hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• Practice at all 3 Des Moines locations: Methodist, Lutheran & Methodist West Emergency Departments
• Shift duration: 12 hours & 9 hours
• Variety of shifts, hours vary by location
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Improve the health of the people and communities we serve

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience, as an emergency medicine provider
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work as a team member
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
