Qualifications:
- Active OT license by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT)
- Post-graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred)
- School-based OT experience (NC schools preferred)
- Proficiency with ECATS & IEPs required
- Experience administering SPM-2 & Sensory Profile 2 assessments
- Familiarity with standardized OT assessments in educational settings
- Must obtain NPI number & register with NC Tracks before starting
- Required: DCDEE fingerprinting and district background check
Responsibilities:
- Conduct motor screenings and occupational therapy evaluations for a diverse student population
- Interpret assessment results within the school-based context
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Accurately document services and collaborate with education staff
- Adhere to the district's monthly therapist workload reassessment
