CDL - Local - Truck Driver
RICHARDS BUILDING SUPPLY
Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Kaiser, MO Location. Can have either CDL Class A or CDL Class B License with Air Brake Endorsement. Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. This job entails local driving only, so you will be home daily! Opportunity to learn industry equipment such as a knuckleboom and a crane. Benefits:

- CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver's license
- 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
- Flatbed, moffett, knuckleboom operating experience desired
- Crane and laddervator experience desired
- Ability to drive a manual transmission
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Heavy Lifting experience
- Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
- Will have a driver assistant riding with you who will be doing the following:
- Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
- Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one and two story homes
- Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
- Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
- Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
