Position details:

Facility: BayCare Health System, FSED Lab – BRMC

Location: Lakeland, FL

Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:30AM

Schedule: Part Time- every other weekend

On Call: No

As a Floor Care Technician:

Maintain a Clean & Safe Environment

• Perform detailed floor care and specialized cleaning in patient and non-patient areas.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with hospital standards, safety guidelines, and infection prevention protocols.

Support Daily Operations

• Respond promptly to spills and environmental service needs.
• Move and set up furniture for patient care areas, meetings, and special events.

Care for Equipment & Supplies

• Maintain cleaning equipment, furniture, and supplies to ensure operational readiness.
• Help support cost-effective operations through proper use and care of resources.

Make a Difference Every Day

• Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required specific skills include, operate and maintain floor, carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.
• 6 months of Floor Care experience required
