School Occupational Therapist | Warren, Michigan

This position focuses on providing engaging, student-centered intervention at two campuses, allowing you to impact learners across diverse environments. Working as an itinerant OT, you'll support students with a variety of needs, collaborating closely with educational teams and families to help each child succeed in their school day.


Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt to different campus environments and manage a part-time (.4) caseload
• Skill in collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Strong organizational and time management skills for effective itinerant work
• Commitment to fostering inclusivity and supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services as outlined in student IEPs
• Evaluate student needs to develop creative, individualized treatment plans
• Travel between two campuses to deliver services and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to progress reviews
• Offer training and resources to staff and family members when appropriate
• Participate in IEP meetings, recommending strategies for classroom accommodations and modifications
