Role Description The Insurance Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Charlotte, NC, working within a State Farm agent’s office. The Insurance Agent will engage with prospective and existing customers to assess their insurance and financial needs, recommend appropriate products, and support policy enrollment and changes. Day-to-day responsibilities include building strong customer relationships, conducting needs-based consultations, preparing quotes, processing applications, and providing ongoing policy servicing. The role also involves proactive outreach, follow-up on leads, and participation in local marketing and community initiatives to grow the agency’s customer base. The Insurance Agent collaborates closely with the agent and team to achieve sales goals, deliver high-quality customer service, and ensure compliance with industry and company standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively consult with customers and recommend suitable coverage options.
• Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to support product selection, understand financial impacts, and discuss complementary financial services.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build relationships, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Relevant experience in a sales, retail, banking, or insurance environment is beneficial.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities are preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC, with a focus on teamwork, reliability, and ethical conduct.
• State-required insurance licenses (or the ability to obtain them within a defined timeframe) are beneficial.
