Staff Dietitian

Job Description

Assists individual nutritional assessments and development of care plans for program participants. Performs related duties supporting program operations. 

Job Responsibility

Assists nutritional assessment and tailors food package for program participants.Follows nutrition care protocols.Assists the implementation of client specific high risk nutrition care plans.Assists in monitoring client status and modifies care plan, as needed.Refers clients to community services, as needed.Prepares individual and group education classes as per policy.Assists in monitoring staff working in kitchens, cafeterias, and dining rooms to ensure maintenance of premises and equipment in good sanitary condition.Utilizes effective lines of communication regarding nutrition information within the program and community.Documents actions in department computer system; maintains records and writes reports.Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
