Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lighting Sales Representative with 10-15 years of industry expertise to lead and execute sales strategies for lighting products and solutions. This is a senior-level role focused on driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and delivering tailored lighting solutions across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Understand evolving customer needs and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
New Business Development
Identify and target potential clients and new market segments
Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base
Consultative Sales & Technical Expertise
Provide customized lighting solutions aligned with client goals, energy efficiency requirements, and budgets
Maintain deep knowledge of lighting products, including LEDs, fixtures, controls, and emerging technologies
Sales Presentations & Proposals
Deliver compelling sales presentations highlighting product value and ROI
Prepare detailed proposals including pricing, specifications, and timelines
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy
Negotiation & Order Management
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to close deals
Oversee order lifecycle including processing, delivery, and installation coordination
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout
Market Research & Strategy
Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences
Identify new opportunities for growth
Leadership & Networking
Lead or mentor junior sales team members as needed
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Reporting
Maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts
Provide insights on performance and market conditions

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
- 10-15 years of experience in lighting sales or a related industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of lighting systems and energy-efficient solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Willingness to travel as required
