Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Stepdown position requiring an active IL RN license, at least 2 years of Med Surg experience, and flexibility to float across multiple campuses.

Details

• Multi-campus health system with float potential across Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, and Muscatine locations
• Telemetry unit with potential to float to the Stepdown/Cardiac unit as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• 3x12-hour shifts with a 0645 start time
• Every other weekend required
• Float across all campuses is required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration; active IA RN license also required, or proof of application for an IA single-state or compact RN license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Stepdown or Cardiac experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• Driver's license required
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the standard travel pay rate
• Travelers previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• Holiday coverage required: travelers must work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
• RTO during the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year's holiday windows is limited to 1 day per window, regardless of holidays worked
