Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized Roofing Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of residential roofing projects. This role is responsible for managing project costs, production schedules, and on-site quality to ensure our yearly production targets are consistently met. You will work closely with homeowners, crews, and internal teams to ensure every project meets our standards for craftsmanship and customer experience. The Project Manager will also evaluate product and service performance based on homeowner feedback to maintain a high-quality offering. Weekly check-ins with production and management will keep projects aligned with monthly and quarterly goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of roofing projects from pre-construction through final inspection.

• Maintain project budgets and monitor job costs to stay within yearly production targets.

• Schedule crews, materials, equipment, and deliveries to ensure timely, efficient production.

• Conduct on-site inspections to verify installation quality, safety compliance, and adherence to scope.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project.

• Document all project progress, changes, and issues using company systems and processes.

• Evaluate product and service performance based on homeowner satisfaction and internal quality metrics.

• Hold weekly meetings with production and management teams to review progress and identify solutions.

• Assist in resolving project delays, warranty issues, and scope challenges.

• Collaborate with sales, production, and leadership to improve operational processes and customer experience.

Requirements

• 3+ (preferred) years of experience in roofing, construction management, or related residential trades.

• Strong understanding of roofing systems, installation practices, safety standards, and job-site operations.

• Proven ability to manage budgets, production timelines, and multiple concurrent projects.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with crews, homeowners, and internal teams.

• Proficiency with project management software, JobNimbus (or other CRMs), mobile apps, and digital documentation tools.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to work in the field, climb ladders, lift materials, and navigate active job sites when required.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

• High level of professionalism, organization, and follow-through.

Results & Communication Standards

• Ensure all production timelines, job schedules, crew assignments, and project communication—including notes, photos, and documentation—are accurately entered and updated in the production calendar and JobNimbus to maintain full visibility for the production and management teams.

• Monitor and track job cost financials—including labor, materials, and change orders—to ensure each project meets established profitability targets.

• Identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, or material/labor challenges and implement solutions; escalate larger systemic issues to management for collaboration and resolution.

• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with homeowners from pre-construction through final walkthrough to ensure clarity, trust, and a seamless project experience.

• Uphold a minimum customer satisfaction rating of 4.5/5 on all completed projects. Homeowners describe their experience as professional, responsive, and supportive at every touchpoint.

• Deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting company standards for craftsmanship, safety, and homeowner experience.

• Support continuous improvement by providing feedback to leadership on product performance, crew quality, and operational processes.
