We are looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our office. Position Overview:

As our Dental Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for our patients. You will manage the daily flow of the front office, ensuring our patients feel valued from the moment they call or walk through the door. This role is a perfect blend of customer service, scheduling mastery, and administrative support.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Patient Hospitality: Warmly greet patients, check them in/out, and maintain a welcoming, tidy front office environment.
  • Smart Scheduling: Manage the appointment book efficiently to maximize provider production while ensuring patient wait times are minimal.
  • Communication Hub: Answer multi-line phones, respond to emails/texts, and handle patient inquiries with clarity and empathy.
  • Insurance & Billing Support: Verify dental insurance benefits, submit claims, and present clear treatment plans and financial options to patients.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate digital patient records, update medical histories, and handle patient check-outs and payments securely.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements):

  • Experience: 1–2+ years of experience as a dental receptionist or front-desk coordinator is highly preferred (experience with dental software like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental is a huge plus). We are willing to train the right person with strong medical reception or high-end hospitality experience!
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating dental practice management software, digital forms, and basic office tech.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask smoothly during peak patient hours.
  • Team Player: A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to contribute to a collaborative team culture.
