Position Title: Engineering Supervisor Requisition Id: 1706 Worker Category: Full Time Location: Dublin, OH, US Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually Job Description FLSA Status Exempt Department Engineering Reports To Engineering Manager Job Summary The Engineering Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership, technical guidance, issue resolution, and development support to engineering team members working on vibration isolation and acoustics products and applications. This role ensures engineering work is executed accurately, consistently, and efficiently while fostering continuous skill development across the team. The Engineering Supervisor supports engineering quality, onboarding, training, process discipline, technical escalation, and continuous improvement within assigned market groups. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands‑on leader with a strong understanding of Kinetics' products, engineering workflows, customer expectations, and manufacturing requirements. This individual will effectively coach team members, resolve technical and process issues, support offshore integration, and collaborate cross‑functionally to drive execution excellence. This role requires a proactive leader who can communicate effectively across Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Provide daily supervision and guidance to engineering team members supporting multiple market groups Conduct regular team meetings to review workload, priorities, lessons learned, and process updates Lead one‑on‑one meetings focused on performance, development, workload balance, and coaching Support onboarding and training of new employees, including product knowledge and workflow orientation Identify skill gaps and develop targeted training plans to enhance team capability Reinforce accountability while maintaining a supportive, development‑focused team environment Technical Support & Execution Serve as a primary escalation point for technical questions, non‑standard applications, and complex project challenges Assist with scope clarification, RFIs, and customer‑driven technical inquiries Help resolve urgent project issues, including shop questions and internal execution challenges Ensure engineering outputs meet quality standards, documentation expectations, and schedule requirements Support accurate and consistent use of engineering tools, templates, and workflows Quality, Process & Continuous Improvement Investigate engineering errors, manufacturing issues, warranty claims, and customer complaints Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective action planning Identify recurring issues and implement process improvements to prevent reoccurrenceDevelop and maintain SOPs, training materials, lessons learned, and technical guidance Support improvements in engineering tools, dashboards, standards, and workflows Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Operations to resolve issues and improve execution Participate in engineering operations meetings and workload planning discussions Coordinate with the Engineering Resource Scheduler to align work assignments with capability and training levels Communicate effectively across departments to ensure alignment on project expectations and deliverables Resource & Operational Management Support utilization and development of offshore engineering resources, including defining work scope and quality expectations Review technical fit, checking requirements, and training limitations for assigned work Approve timesheets, manage PTO coordination, and support HR‑related initiatives Escalate significant technical, customer, or personnel issues to the Engineering Manager as needed Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferred Equivalent hands‑on experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical applications will be considered 3+ years of experience in technical leadership, application engineering, or project‑based engineering roles preferred Prior experience leading or mentoring technical team member Experience with vibration isolation, building acoustics, mechanical systems, structural supports, architectural acoustics, or construction‑related engineered products preferred Experience working with custom engineered products, project‑based workflows, manufacturing support, or customer‑facing technical issues Familiarity with Kinetics products, IsoSuite, and internal engineering workflows strongly preferred Core Competencies Strong technical judgment and problem‑solving capability Ability to coach and develop others in specialized engineering applications Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to balance quality, schedule, and customer expectations High attention to detail with awareness of downstream manufacturing impact Skilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvement Comfortable managing multiple priorities and technical escalations in a fast‑paced environment Ability to create clear training materials, documentation, and process guidance Proactive mindset with a focus on identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
