Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr.
Hours : Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

Inventory Control Clerk II Job Summary

The Inventory Control Clerk II is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, staging materials for production, and supporting the movement and organization of inventory to ensure efficient production operations and timely customer order fulfillment.

Inventory Control Clerk II Duties & Responsibilities

• Enter received inventory into the company inventory management system.

• Relocate incoming inventory to designated bin or job locations.

• Conduct daily cycle counts and assist with quarterly physical inventory counts.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and inventory accounting systems.

• Monitor, document, and report inventory variances and discrepancies.

• Organize and maintain inventory locations using a systematic storage process.

• Pull and issue materials according to job orders while maintaining inventory accuracy.

• Stage materials and orders for the assembly department.

• Gather inventory data to support operational decision-making.

• Coordinate with receiving, scheduling, and production personnel to ensure materials are available when needed.

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Complete required paperwork and inventory documentation.

• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Inventory Control Clerk II Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 1–3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Previous forklift experience 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Basic math skills and ability to perform inventory-related calculations.

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Experience with inventory management software preferred.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable, punctual, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
