Location: 501 S Loop 250 W, Midland, TX, 79703 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Make Ready professional to join our team at Mesquite Terraces in Midland, TX. The Make Ready team member is responsible for preparing vacant apartments for new residents by performing cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure each unit meets our quality standards. Key Responsibilities Clean and prepare vacant apartments, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing all areas. Perform minor maintenance and repairs such as changing light bulbs, fixing door locks, patching holes, and replacing fixtures. Inspect units to ensure they meet company standards before resident move-in. Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to report larger repair needs. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with other property maintenance tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in apartment make ready, janitorial, or maintenance roles preferred. Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and maintenance repairs. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
