Team and Practice A&M\’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) focuses on serving the middle market and large-cap private equity firms to improve operating results at portfolio companies. The PEPI Operations group is growing, offering opportunities for career advancement and leadership development. We provide a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value across cost improvements, transformations, mergers, acquisitions, and carve-outs. Our operations professionals assist clients with manufacturing operations, supply chain and distribution, procurement, SG&A, and sales force effectiveness to identify value creation opportunities and drive improvements for portfolio companies. How You Will Contribute Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements, working with PE leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for portfolio companies. Gain a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing and distribution operations, including organization design, capacity, efficiency, quality, planning, warehousing, and team capability. Evaluate maintainability and operability of production facilities. Review current and historical data to understand efficiency and capacity, including equipment conditions, maintenance logs, spare parts, and production numbers. Provide shop floor insights by engaging with employees and customers and reviewing data. Identify cost improvement opportunities through lean improvements, outsourcing, or facility consolidation. Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes and identify risks and mitigation strategies. Implement and oversee deliverables quality and manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Qualifications 7-10+ years of professional industry experience with a minimum of 4 years in manufacturing and/or distribution functions. Deep functional expertise in one or more areas: Supply Chain Operations; Manufacturing Operations, S&OP; footprint optimization, plant consolidation, and product line transfer; Manufacturing strategy, CapEx planning, Manufacturing 4.0/IIoT; Lean, Six Sigma, TOC and Value Engineering. Demonstrated track record working with C-suite executives as well as private equity deal and operating partners. Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis. Experience designing and leading the execution of change/communications strategy, both internally and externally. MBA a plus. Salary range: $125,000–$190,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus depending on education, experience, skills, geography, and performance.
