Description

American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring 1.5+ years of rehab experience and proficiency with Cerner.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting, not a nursing home or LTAC
• Rehabilitation unit with patients typically staying around 14 days
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Rotating weekends required, every other weekend
• Charge nurse responsibilities expected on each shift, overseeing a team of patients

Requirements

• Current state LPN/LVN license required if applicable
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting required
• Acute care or med-surg experience preferred, along with experience at rehab facilities such as Brooks, Encompass, or Ernest Health
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system required
• Current CPR certification required
• ACLS certification preferred, required if serving in charge nurse role
• First-time travelers accepted
