Areas of Excellence Happy Guests Spotless Cleanliness Product Consistency & Quality Teamwork Responsibilities – Guest Experience Guest Relations: Greet guests with a smile and use their names whenever possible. Guest Satisfaction: Collaborate with the team to achieve high guest satisfaction scores. Recovery: Address challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency. Hotel Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities. Events: Support all groups and events hosted at the property. Technology: Utilize relevant technology for the role. Phone Etiquette: Answer all calls with friendly service using the approved greeting. Responsibilities – Cleanliness Workspaces: Keep front and back‑of‑house areas clean and organized. Pitching In: The team collectively maintains guest rooms and public spaces to ensure safety and organization. Hospitality While Cleaning: Greet guests warmly while performing cleaning duties. Responsibilities – Product Consistency & Quality Checklists: Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time. Shift Handover: Provide accurate and timely reports for shift‑to‑shift communication. Uniform: Enforce clean, approved uniform and grooming standards. Responsibilities – Teamwork Communication: Ensure clear, honest, and professional communication among team members. Can‑Do Attitude: Willing to support needs beyond the traditional role. Collaboration: Commit to a welcoming, effective workplace environment. General Manager Specific Duties Daily Supervision: Conduct daily walks of rooms and public spaces; validate cleanliness and mechanical readiness. Onboarding: Guide new hires through onboarding and checklists. Auditing: Complete daily summary and night audit processes. Reporting: Receive, sign, and upload shift handover and daily reports. Quality Assurance: Oversee brand standards, conduct self‑audits, and correct deviations. Attire Standards: Ensure team members wear approved uniform and greet guests. Safety: Keep fire and life‑safety inspections current; correct deficiencies. Preventative Maintenance: Verify completion and visual quality of maintenance tasks. Work Schedules: Enforce adherence to established schedules; adjust weekly. Teaching/Training/Development: Educate the team on safety, functional expertise, growth paths, and coaching. Time‑Clock Management: Review and audit time‑clock punches. Purchase Order Process: Ensure purchase orders follow the proper pipeline and invoices are processed. Inventory Management: Keep approved storage clean and follow inventory program. Success Metrics Guest Satisfaction Scores / Intent to Return Leadership and RVP Performance Ratings Checklist Tracking and Guest Ratings RVP Performance Ratings for Teamwork Qualifications & Requirements Can‑Do Attitude: Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred. Experience: Supervision and hospitality industry experience preferred. Physical Working Demands & Environment Stand or remain stationary for 3‑4 hours at a time. Operate computers, data entry, handle phone calls, and manipulate tools. Lift and transport supplies up to 25 lb. Inspect details at close and long range. Travel may be required. Moderate noise level. Language and Reasoning Skills Speak, read, write, and interpret English documents. Write routine reports, letters, and summaries. Communicate effectively before groups.
