divh2Transportation Dispatcher/h2pCoordinates all limousine reservations, errands associated with limousine runs, shuttle moves and dispatches for the Transportation department. The dispatcher will be an individual who requires little supervision and acts as a primary support to the Transportation Supervisor/ph3How You Will Create the Extraordinary/h3ulliMaintain accurate records of all transportation activities in the department./liliCommunicate through two-way radio or cellular telephone with limousine and shuttle drivers to ensure constant status and location./liliCommunicate through a multi-line phone system with other departments and properties to assist both drivers and guests./liliUse computer programs to track airline flights, review limousine reservations, find addresses and map driving routes./liliBuild and maintain the daily limo board./liliOrder extra limousines from outside companies for special events and areas outside average driving distances when needed./liliControl driver overtime and outsourcing to a minimum./liliTrain newly hired dispatchers on working with radios, all computer programs including Harrahs programs such as CMS, LMS, and answering multi-line phone system and dispatching./liliPrioritize guest reservations / dispatches./liliCoordinate guest limousine reservation requests with casino hosts and VIP personnel./liliTroubleshoot complex problems and resolve any issues in a timely manner./liliAnswer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas./liliInspect the limo fleet on a daily basis, maintaining vehicle inspection reports./li/ulh3What You Will Need/h3ulliCollege Degree or equivalent work experience preferred with 2 years of demonstrated excellent guest service experience/liliAbility to multi-task is necessary./liliMust be able to obtain a gaming license/liliWorking knowledge of basic computer skills and programs including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet required./liliKnowledge and use of two-radio, multi-line phone, and cell phone required./liliMust be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms./liliMust have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts./liliMust have an even tempered demeanor./liliMaintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Harrahs standards./liliWork varied shifts, including weekends and holidays./liliAble to work in a fast-paced stressful environment while troubleshooting complex problems./liliMust have the ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously/liliAbility to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business/liliActs as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same./liliAdheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures/liliADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/liliMust be able to sit for long periods of time (8 hours)./liliMust be able to listen and respond to aural cues./liliMust have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment./liliMust be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property including stairs and escalators./liliMust have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel./liliPositions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products.
