Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Nursing Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing nursing services and ensuring high-quality care for our residents.This is an opportunity to play a key role in clinical operations, support nursing staff, and help create a culture of compassionate, safe, and resident-centered care.If you have nursing supervisory experience and are passionate about leading a team in a long-term care environment, we would love to hear from you!Why Join Our Nursing Leadership Team?Partner directly with the Director of Nursing to support nursing operations.Help lead and support nursing staff in delivering quality resident care.Play a key role in clinical oversight, resident care planning, and regulatory compliance.Make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and their families.Grow your nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.What You'll DoAs the Assistant Director of Nursing / Nursing Supervisor, you will support the administration and management of Nursing Services, ensuring care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, resident needs, and applicable regulatory standards.Clinical Leadership & Nursing OperationsPartner with the Director of Nursing to oversee nursing services and support 24-hour nursing operations.Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing, as assigned and within the scope of licensure.Provide guidance, direction, and support to nursing staff to promote consistent, high-quality resident care.Monitor nursing practices and help ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations.Support adequate staffing coverage and effective nursing department operations.Resident Care & Clinical OversightCoordinate comprehensive resident care plans in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team.Ensure resident care is provided in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and applicable regulations.Support the delivery of compassionate, person-centered care that promotes resident dignity, safety, and quality of life.Monitor resident care outcomes, including prevention of pressure injuries, maintenance of optimal resident function, and overall environmental and care standards.Participate in admission decisions and pre-admission visits as needed.Team Collaboration & CommunicationCommunicate nursing policies, procedures, and expectations to nursing staff.Participate in daily and weekly management meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, staffing, and resident concerns.Collaborate with facility leadership and other departments to address operational and resident care needs.Promote a positive, professional, and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.What We're Looking ForCurrent nursing license as an RN or LPN/LVN, as applicable to the position and state of practice.Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program, as required by the role.At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience required.Five years of long-term care or acute care nursing experience preferred.Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to lead, support, and collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.Knowledge of nursing practices, resident care planning, and applicable regulatory requirements.Commitment to quality care, resident safety, and professional nursing standards.Benefits & Employment DetailsFull-Time Nursing Leadership Position401(k)Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceAdditional benefits may be available based on eligibility.Benefits, qualifications, and employment details are subject to company policies and position requirements.Ready to Take the Next Step in Your Nursing Career?If you're an experienced nursing professional looking for an opportunity to grow your leadership responsibilities while making a difference in long-term care, apply today to join Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation!We look forward to learning more about you!
