SENIOR DATA ENGINEER - SUPPLY CHAIN – CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN, MINNESOTA PREFERRED) 4 days a week on-site, Fridays optional WFH Hormel does not offer sponsorship for employment-based visas for this position at this time. Join Hormel Foods and lead the Supply Chain Data Engineering team responsible for building the trusted data assets and foundational data capabilities that power planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and transportation across the enterprise. In this role, you will help advance our Enterprise Data Foundation by leveraging modern technologies including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Composer (Airflow), Python, Incorta, and enterprise semantic layer solutions. You\'ll lead a team of engineers responsible for delivering curated data assets, scalable data pipelines, dimensional models, and semantic models while helping modernize our data ecosystem and supporting critical business capabilities. What You\'ll Do Lead and develop the Supply Chain Data Engineering team. Build and support data solutions across modern cloud and legacy data platforms. Deliver curated data assets, data pipelines, dimensional models, and semantic models that enable enterprise analytics and decision-making. Partner with Supply Chain stakeholders, Data Products & Solutions teams, and enterprise technology teams to deliver business value. Drive modernization initiatives and engineering best practices across the Supply Chain data domain. What We\'re Looking For 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or modern data platforms. Experience with SQL, Python, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data solutions. Strong understanding of Supply Chain data and business processes. Experience leading technical teams and delivering cross-functional initiatives. Experience with GCP, BigQuery, Airflow, Incorta, and semantic layer technologies such as AtScale, Cube, or Oracle Analytics Server preferred. A comprehensive relocation package to the above area will be offered, if required. At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Senior Data Engineer role is between $119,525 - $167,325 per year , and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
