About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Fort Worth, Texas, 76101!

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Ortho Neuro Med Surg unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Care for post-operative patients following procedures such as total knees, total hips, laminectomies, fusions, ORIF, ACDF, and VP shunt revisions
• Utilize and document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Assist with and manage spine and orthopedic bracing equipment as needed
• Float to Med Surg units as required based on census needs
• Collaborate as part of a team-oriented unit alongside charge nurses, CNAs, and support staff

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience
• Meditech EMR experience required - candidates without this will not be considered

• Spine and/or orthopedic nursing background strongly preferred
• Relevant nursing certification (e.g., CMSRN or orthopedic specialty certification)
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to adapt to a dynamic, census-driven environment
